Children’s Voice Today is committed to be the voice of children, to empower them to advocate for their rights and to fight violence against children.
Children’s Voice Today (CVT) is a Rwandan Non-Governmental Organization that was established since 2001 to promote the rights of the child through meaningful child participation, where children/youth initiate and lead all activities of the organization.
Children’s Voice Today (CVT) is an active member of both the African Movement of Working Children and Youth (AMWCY) and Rwanda Civil Society Child Rights Coalition “Umwana ku Isonga”.

Child participation is one of the core principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). However, child participation is one of child right which is most violated in many areas.
We stand up for children, and help to inform parents, communities, and decision-makers about children’s rights. We encourage children to actively participate in the decision-making processes that affect their lives, and when possible, speak up for themselves and be heard.
